HOUSE IN FULHAM – RENOVATED AND A LOFT CONVERSION
HOUSE IN FULHAM – RENOVATED AND A LOFT CONVERSION
The house was originally a non-descript 1970’s council house, it was bought by a theatre production manager and transformed with light and innovation. Attention to detail was paramount and the introduction of as much light as possible. The main living space has a secret door to enclose the space or open for special occasions. Two double/triple-height light wells were punched through from the roof level to bathe the stairwells in light, also forming an amazing light sculptural void over the bathroom. The stairs use innovative, concealed, magnet-driven connectors so no fixings are visible. The slatted screen supports the steps and creates an animation and open feel to the first-floor landing. The floor-to-ceiling doors throughout add a sense of generous proportions. This is echoed at the rear of the dormer, with the huge sliding doors into the garden.

STORIES MEWS – NEW BUILD PASSIVHAUS
The client, downsizing from a large Georgian home, was persuaded to build a 3 bed Passivhaus with energy efficiency and comfort a priority. A challenging site, located in a narrow mews lane in central London, and formerly a double garage for the main house. The design utilised brick clad SIP panels, constructed off-site and delivered on small lorries. The external industrial aesthetic complemented the functional qualities of the existing mews and the use of roof windows maximises light to the rear and upper floors. The clean and spacious feel provides an exceptional and inviting living area and the house requires 1/20th the energy of the average home, achieving outstanding comfort and air-tightness. Additional solar panels and a pool with electronic sliding decking further compliment this unique and award-winning home.

ESPH – RENOVATION
Originally converted in 2007 from a former food-processing factory, into a new fitness centre Pilates studio and clinic. Ten years later the space was refurbished and reconfigured to accommodate a state-of-the-art gym with four new exercise studios offering boutique quality fitness. The final stage redeveloping the changing rooms and reception area is planned for August 2018 and the work to deliver one of London’s most outstanding gyms will be complete.
